Happy Valentines Everyone!

Sunday, February 18, 2007

Happy Valentines Everyone! I know this post is four days late, but i’ve been super busy. I hope all of you had a great valentines day whether you were or weren’t with someone. Mines was pretty good. I spent part of the day at school hanging out with my friend Adrian. Around 1pm we headed out to the store and it started snowing!!! It was pretty. At 2:30 I arrived at BJ’s school with his present in hand, or rather around my arms. I went to wait in front of his classroom for the session to be over. Well, when the bell rang, to my surprise BJ wasn’t in there. I totally forgot that the 2nd trimester was over and they already changed to new classes! I was like oh crap, what do I do now? Happy Valentines Everyone!Luckily I walked around the corner and BJ was walking towards the stairway. His mouth dropped wide open when he saw the big ol’ doggie :-D Then he started showing it too his friends and people that passed by… it was so cute… i loved the attention. Afterwhich, BJ and I went to have dinner at night (on him). It was great. I couldn’t asked for anything more… oh wait, yea i can. I wanted to buy some gloves so we ran by Kohls real quick to see if they had anything but they were already showing spring clothes so I just got some jeans instead. :-D

No Children, No Marriage?

Wednesday, February 14, 2007

A new proposed law will limit marriage to only couples with children! What in the world is up with these people? Not only does this abolish marriage totally for glbt, but it also annulls the existing marrage of straight couples who aren’t fertile or simply doesn’t want kids. I swear, these people are so freakin stupid. More info to come… i’m in class right now.

I’ve Been Googled

Monday, February 12, 2007

As most of you already know, or at least I assumed you know, my father learned the magical power of the internet, whose name is Google. Out of curiousity he search our families last name and it brought up a bunch of stuff from lawsuit to our college websites. My blog, the one you are currently reading now, just happened to be one of the ones listed. My sister came in the room asking “why is dad reading your journal?” I was like “what are you talking about?” The next day, my mom confirmed it by telling me that my dad wants to show her a website of mines when he gets back from work.

As of right now everything seems cool. Even yesterday, my mom told her friends that I like men and women… lol. It was so embarassing. One of her friends were like “oh it makes sense now…no wonder he always cleaned the house when he was younger.”

The Opposing Relationship

Sunday, February 4, 2007

A few months back I was having lunch at the UT Arlington campus. BJ and I were a few months away from hitting a year.

Anyways, while at lunch I found out that one of my friends were in a “open relationship.” Knowing my friend, I knew he didn’t want a open, but rather a closed relationship. I kinda said “that’s weird” out loud. In response, his partner asked me what was so weird about it and told me that I’m still too young to know what I want in a relationship, and that i’m in lust, not love. Is it just me or is the guy crazy?!?! Should a person in a open relationship really be giving me any advice?

A few simple letters…

Saturday, February 3, 2007

A couple months ago BJ misplaced (LOST) his promise ring. A few weeks after, we replaced the ring with the same kind, but haven’t had the time to go and get the engravings back on it. During those months we were always planning on going to get it done, but it never happened. I was stupid enough to think that as long as any lettering is on there, it’s fine… as long as it’s there!

Well, this past wednesday, BJ and I went to the Parks Mall at Arlington to do some shopping for his Canada clothes. While we were there we stopped at a ring engraving place and showed the clerk our rings and how we wanted it done… he said ok.

We come back about an hour later to find out that he hasn’t even started engraving the ring after he told us it will only take 30 to 40 minutes!!! The scripts that were on my ring didn’t match the ones he offered. Why tell me “ok” and make me come back an hour later to find out that it’s not even something he offered??? I guess the guy was smart enough NOT to had engraved it. I took the ring from him and asked for a script book… more like demanded. I went through every single letter of ever single font style to see if I could find one that matches the ring. Nothing.

I never knew my heart could hurt so much and my emotions change so quickly over a few simple letters. The same letters that I thought to myself a couple months ago, wouldn’t matter as long as it’s there. It was at that moment that I realized I still wanted the ring to be exactly the way it was when I first put it onto BJ’s finger. I still want it to symbolize the same smile and love that we have. I didn’t want BJ to see me tear up over a freakin ring so I stood frozen, leaning up against the glass, and just waited for my tears to dry up.

What made matters worst for me was when I looked up at the guy and asked if he had anything else, I noticed the clerk was playing around with BJ’s ring around his own finger. That freakin pissed me off!

BJ’s on his way to Canada

Friday, February 2, 2007

Wow, for the first time i’m not sad or upset! How weird is that?~? Hehe, it might change in a few hours. BJ called me earlier this morning, 5:11am to be exact to ask me what a “notary” was.

ringtone: “i’ve been waiting so long…” (me and you by cassie)

“Baby, wake up and listen” -BJ

“Huh??? What?? uh hmmm” – Me

Lol. BJ forgot to get one of his forms notarized for consent to travel, but fortunately (unfortunately) a teacher at his school was a notarizer, and yea. I really don’t know much of the details, but he called me about 10 minutes ago and he’s at the Houston International Airport. I’m so happy he called :-) In the morning I was kinda antsy because it was already 8:30am and he hasn’t called me yet to tell me he was at the dallas airport so I didn’t know if he missed his plane or whatever. Dang, I miss him. I hope you have fun on the trip baby. I better get a big expensive ass present. I’m serious :-x

High School Musical in Grand Prairie (Cont.)

Thursday, February 1, 2007

The play was AWESOME! There were a few problem spots here and there, but all-in-all, it was a really well prepared production.

However, the acting could had use a little help. When the show first started out there was a noticeable “out of character” vibe which kinda killed the mood for me. When the actors aren’t confident, I don’t know what i’m suppose to be looking towards, the bad acting or something more entertaining like picking my nose. It later picks up with the introduction of new characters and then quickly died again during one of my favorite song. A few select characters excelled throughout the entire play, and Katie…you had a voice to die for. Congratulations SGP, you did something i actually loved. I will post the disclaimer on the program tomorrow for all to see… it’s freakin hilarious!
