Crazy Anti-gay Pastor Lost Monument Bid

by Trey C. on July 19, 2007

Fred Phelps - TREYCRUZ.COMFred Phelps, the crazy anti-gay Pastor, just lost a bid to erect a monument of “freedom” that would depict the 1998 slaying of Matthew Shepherd. The “Satan in disquise” wanted to put the monument alongside our country’s greatest documents which includes granite engravings of the Constitution, Magna Carta and other documents dedicated to freedom. The city obviously rejected the idea and the Mayor made this statement to Fred.

“Your monument is simply religious in character, based on your personal religious beliefs regarding Matthew Shepard, and bears no historical significance to the foundation of the law for our country. As such, the city cannot place your monument on city property without violating the establishment clause of the United States Constitution.”

Fred’s response was “The end is coming, and it will be cataclysmic. I don’t expect to save Casper.” Oh lord. How crazy can this guy be? Why is a Pastor holding a sign that says “Fags die. God laughs”?… yea he’s really holy. Is he also claiming himself to be God? Isn’t God the only one that can save us? [source]
