McCain Spooked By Ellen’s Gay Marriage Talk

Since we are mentioning Ellen like crazy this week here is the latest scoop. On an interview Thursday with Republican presidential candidate John McCain, the now engaged Ellen DeGeneres addressed the issue of Gay marriage and the recent California ruling – AWKWARD SILENCE.

“Let’s talk about it, let’s talk about the big elephant in the room,” she said during the interview.

McCain said he supported “legal agreements” between same sex couples, but he added, “we just have a disagreement, and I along with many many others wish you every happiness.”

Aww, how cute! He wishes us happiness with our “legal agreements”. I guess that’s always 100 times better than President Bush and his anti-gay tactics.

“Thank you,” DeGeneres joked, cutting the tension. “So you’ll walk me down the aisle?”

“Touche,” replied McCain with a chuckle.
