‘Prayers for Bobby,’ Simply beautiful!
by Trey C. on January 25, 2009
Lifetime’s ‘Prayers for Bobby,’ which made its miraculous nationwide debut Saturday evening, had to have been one of the best and most beautiful movie about a gay in-the-closet teen I’ve ever seen.
I was sitting in a 100-people packed room with tears building around my face. The movie was so dramatic, so powerful, so close to home that I could barely contain any of my emotions. Needless to say, I left the screening room with my right shoulder completely soaked in tears, with a new sense of hope.
I definitely give this movie two thumbs, two toes and whatever else up, because this is the movie of the year that no one should miss. ‘Prayers for Bobby’ will air again Jan. 27 at 9 pm ET/PT on Lifetime.

@ElectricM: I would hope so. I want to be first on the list to get the release on DVD.

I saw the movie “Prayers for Bobby” tonight, again, and I am just loving that movie – I had to go get more tissues from the store before the movie because I ran out last night when I watched it the first time!
I give that movie an A++++!!! I’m sooooo going to buy it when it comes out on DVD!
