Yo, let’s hook up at NYC Pride

Peter Rauhofer’s infamous “Work” party has grown significantly over the past several years making its way around the globe with grand-scale events everywhere from Rio to Paris to Miami. On Saturday, June 27, the Grammy Award-winning DJ brings his “Work” party back to where it all started and makes it bigger than ever for New York Pride with “We Can!” at Manhattan’’s massive Roseland Ballroom.
“We Can!” is set to be one of the biggest Saturday Night Pride events New York has ever experienced featuring the DJ maestro himself Peter Rauhofer, Offer Nissim, Paulo, Oscar G and performances by Maya and Kevin Aviance!
In light of the recent shift in United States politics and momentum in the New York State legislature moving ever-closer to full marriage equality for gay New Yorkers, it’s difficult not to see the title Rauhofer chose for his mega-event as an allusion to politics and a paraphrase of the mantra that swept Barack Obama to the Presidency. Not so, says Rauhofer. “It’s not a political statement,” Rauhofer asserts. “Pride Weekend in New York is a colossal event where people from all over the world come together to celebrate the gay experience. Calling my party ‘We Can!’ is just a way of making a statement of how powerful we can be when we unite as a community.”
Peter Rauhofer Presents NYC’s Biggest Pride Extravaganza Ever, “WE CAN” at Roseland Ballroom (52nd St, btwn 8th Ave & Bway) on Sat June 27th from 10pm/10am – For ticket info, visit www.wantickets.com.
