Photographer Mark Stout went on a little photo frenzy with model Vili Umana during his recent trip to Las Vegas. Stout was in the great slutty city for the MAGIC fashion show in which he said “with the lines I saw at the designers booths at the show, and the crowds in the Las Vegas Convention Center of Attendees, I would have to say that media reports of the sad state of the American economy are grossly exaggerated!”

Our dear friend Dylan Rosser just finished and launched the redesign of his website and omg, trust us… it will keep you goin’ and goin’ — and goin’ for days.

Celebrated British photographer Dylan Rosser is at it again! Following the recent success of his first book, X-Posed, which featured a collection of sexy and stylish photographs of nude male models, and which was one of publisher Bruno Gmunder’s top sellers of 2008, Rosser comes back fiercer than ever with a Web site devoted to admirers of the nude male form, entitled The Male Form.

Unlike other Web sites devoted to nude male photography that mostly focus on penis count, The Male Form offers visitors and members alike the opportunity to appreciate quality photographs and stunning male models – while also giving members the opportunity of perusing the vast array of phalluses. And while it is anything but shy about male nudity, there’s a presentation about Dylan Rosser’s photography that adds a touch of class and character to the seemingly otherwise erotic pictures.

As a photographer, Dylan Rosser’s main focus has always been to photograph the naked male body. And while he has, from time to time, done photo-shoots of underwear models or topless male photography, he prides himself on his ability to maintain consistency solely within the genre of male nudes. Therefore, The Male Form is considered a supersite of Rosser’s catalogue of photographs. With over 70 models and more than 3,000 images of nude men, it is the merging of his previous and current work. Photographer Troy Phillips and his partner in-crime Akimitsu Sadoi had the honor of shooting a calendar for Next Magazine featuring the 12 hottest bartenders that New York City has to offer. Check ‘em out after the jump.

In a protest towards the recently passed Proposition 8 bill which banned gay marriages in the state of California, –  alongside picketing with pitchforks — Bouska had decided to take a more creative route to vent his exasperation for the homophobes.

The Los Angeles photographer began doing a series of photoshoots featuring youths against H8.

“I want to say thank you to everyone for the overwhelming support regarding the NO H8 photo campaign. Last weekend I invited more ‘NO H8′ers into the studio to add to the growing collection,” Bouska said in his blog Dec 22.

Not surprisingly, a lot of the men in Bouska’s campaign are rather ’stunning’ looking. You can see the set after the jump.

Our buddy the uber hot Zoran Trifunovic, from the other side of the world, visited great ol’ New York City a few months back and had the opportunity to work with Paulo Pascoal. Born in Portugal, Paulo also lived in Angola and Brazil as a kid…then went from Angola to a priest school in Spain. My, my – Look where that got him. No wonder boys sleep with priest, or was that the other way around ;) He left Spain at 17 and moved to New York and attended Julliard.

He recently did a photoshoot with our dear mate Rick Day and said “the shoot took about 9 hours and he went through 200 outfits! 200?? I don’t see any clothing! Maybe Bailey meant the 300-look.

The young stud is currently in the process of preparing campaigns for companies like CK, Emporio Armani, Levi’s and Diesel.

When asked what how he reacted by the next day sign-up, Bailey replied “It was really cool and I was shocked to find out that I was going to work with Tommy Hilfiger”.

It’s all about connections, in his interview at Connex 24.7 Hector revealed that he finds fulfillment every time he see that his models are connecting towards their dreams. Backed with years of experience as a photographer, Hector knew every minute details of his subjects. It is no wonder why all his models are so perfect even down to every inch of their abs! Hector also notes that there is no such thing as a perfect shot… it is all about simply capturing a moment that can evoke emotions among everyone in the room – now that’s the real winner!

“I started photography with an old Canon AE-1 35mm camera given to me by a friend. I stayed in the realm of film for a number of years and worked on honing my technique. Over time my passion for this artform naturally progressed into the digital realm. The breadth of control, quality and possibilities was staggering and I was hooked forever. Digital allowed me to create some of the most astounding collections of beauty.

I’ve been asked – “But WHY do you do it”? This is really a great question to articulate.

I do it because I can’t imagine not doing it! Every day I wake up and my focus is riveted to this medium. I honestly feel compelled to create these images. Of course, the ultimate reason is for the aesthetic beauty. This should not be confused with the typical beauty that everyone generally accepts. I see and conceptualize my work based on an inherent beauty that I find in a person, scene or object. Essentially, the images that I create speak to my soul. Sometimes in a soft whisper and sometimes with a loud yell. Still, each one resonates in me and I am urged to share them with everyone.

I live and breathe these images in my mind’s eye. My biggest fear is that there won’t be enough time for me to produce all the striking ideas that constantly whirl around in my head. We asked Ethan how does he find all these models and the humble photographer replies “A lot of them find me… through friends and word of mouth.” Currently in school at MTSU completing his PHD, Ethan tries to balance out his scholarly research with shooting.

The Salton Sea that exists today results from a man-made environmental disaster that occurred between 1905 and 1907, when improper management of irrigation routes from the Colorado River caused the river to flow unchecked into the Salton Sink for some two years. Efforts to irrigate the fertile Imperial Valley region had culminated in the creation of the Imperial Canal, leading from intakes on the Colorado River to the below-sea-level Imperial Valley. As this waterway became blocked by silt from the river, the California Development Company, which was responsible for the irrigation system, built a diversion channel on Mexican territory, out of reach of the then-new U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The new route crossed an unstable river delta that was regularly reshaped during floods of the Colorado, and the CDC did not have the funds necessary to construct a proper headgate system at the intake from the Colorado river to prevent accidents if the river flooded.

In 1905, massive flooding of some 150,000 cubic feet per second on the Colorado overran the diversion channel and diverted the river into the Salton Sink. Cutback erosion of the soft soil in the channel deepened it and created a steadily-growing waterfall that worked its way back towards the location of the river intake, with the falls at one point reaching 100 feet in height. Scientists worried that if the cutback reached the river itself, the river would be permanently diverted into the Salton Sink, and the cutback might even continue up through Yuma, Arizona. The Southern Pacific Railroad, which had substantial business interests in the region, spent some three million dollars (under intense government pressure) over two years to stop the river’s flow into the Salton Sink. In 1907 these efforts succeeded, and the river resumed its natural course towards the Gulf of California.

The residual water from this catastrophe formed the Salton Sea of today, and continuing man-made agricultural runoff is largely responsible for sustaining it. This event also created the New River and Alamo River. As the basin filled, the town of Salton, a Southern Pacific Railroad siding and parts of the Torres-Martinez Indian Reservation land were submerged.
